Instructions
Step 1
Download the latest version of the MTA program by going to the game manufacturer's website and selecting the Download option. After downloading the installer, run it. Select a folder for installation, click the Install button. After that, the server will be installed, and it needs to be configured correctly.

The Multi Theft Auto server can be configured through the console window, directly from the game, and through the browser. For these options to be available, you must add at least one administrator to the configuration file. To add it, enter the addaccount "name" "password" command in the server window. For example, if the administrator adds the user Ivan and sets the password pass12345 to him, the command will look like addaccount Ivan pass12345. The server will display a message stating that the administrator has been added. Then shut down the server using the shutdown command.

Make sure the server is turned off. This can be done by looking at the current processes in the Task Manager window. Open mods / deathmatch / acl.xml with a text editor and add the account to the Admin group as shown in the example:

Likewise, you can add any number of administrators and users to the server. All basic server settings are located in the mods / deathmatch / mtaserver.conf file. Since it is a simple text file, you can edit it in a regular Notepad program. Each variable in the file has a description of its purpose and information on how to change it.
Step 5
If necessary, you can update the server resources; for this, place the archive or just a folder with scripts (both options are acceptable) in the / mods / deathmatch / resources directory. After that, run the refresh command, it will scan the resources folder and update them if necessary. The same command is used after deleting resources: after deleting unnecessary files, issue the refresh command to refresh the configuration. You can start resources with the start resourcename command in the server console and stop them with the stop resourcename command.
