Basic cheat codes
Cheat codes in Dota 2 are entered in the game chat line (in this case, the "use cheats" function must be activated in the game settings). The following group of cheat codes affects the behavior of enemy characters (creeps): "-startgame" - starts a new game and immediately launches creeps into it, "-spawncreeps" - causes a new wave of creeps during the game, "-enablecreepspawn" - automatically revives creeps (to disable use the "-disablecreepspawn" cheat code), "-killcreeps" - destroys all creeps in the game.
If you are playing against bots - characters controlled by a computer, use the following cheats: "-dumpbots" - opens information about each bot in the current game, "-levelbots" - increases the level of bots, "-givebots" - all bots get some item, "-spawnneutrals" - introduces neutral monsters into the game.
Secret cheat codes
During multiplayer play, the "-allvision" cheat can help you, giving visibility to almost the entire map for both teams (use the "-normalvision" code to return normal visibility). With the command "-createhero" you can add to the game any character that will be controlled by artificial intelligence and will be included either in your team or the team of opponents. Add an "enemy" or "neutral" parameter at the end to clarify the last operation. The same code is used to create one of the strongest characters in the game - Roshan, who is practically resistant to attacks. To do this, enter "-createhero roshan".
There are also rare and little-known cheat codes: "-createhero greevil" - creates a powerful greevil that can be controlled, "-createhero fountain" - creates a fountain where your cursor is, "-createhero tower" - creates a tower at the current point. In a multiplayer game, the "-ping" command becomes quite useful, showing the current ping in the upper right corner of the screen.
