Placing a variety of multimedia materials on the network attracts the attention of other users - videos can make any of your projects more popular and famous, draw attention to some problem, and entertain your online interlocutors. The standard format for videos posted on the web is flash format - flv. If you have a video that you want to share with the online public, convert it to flash video format.
Instructions
Step 1
To convert, use the Riva Encoder program - the program is free and easy to install, and every user can master it. In the Input video section, select the video file you want to convert to flash video. The original format of your recording can be different - AVI, MPEG, WMV, and others.
Step 2
For convenience, place the source file to be converted into the root folder of your hard drive. Then configure the program parameters for a successful conversion.
Step 3
Go to the Video tab and open the Movie Size item. Set the size of the roller. For network broadcasting, it is enough to set the size to 320x240. If the video has sound, also adjust the sound quality - in the “Bitrate” field, set the optimal value from 160 to 360.
Step 4
The better the sound quality on the video, the more the finished file will weigh. Press the Encode button to start converting. Wait for the end of the processing of the clip, and then go to the root folder of the hard disk. There you will find the converted flv video.
Step 5
In order to place the created video on the website, create a new publication or news on the website, and then in the news editing section, click the "Upload video" tab. Select the created movie on your hard drive and click OK. For some time, the video will be uploaded to the server, then enter the [video] code in the news text to display the video player on the page.
Step 6
If you want to place two videos in one newsletter, specify one more code - [video: index = 1]. This method is simple and convenient, but it is suitable only for those site owners who have the "Video" module installed on the site. If this module is not there, you can use the flv-player assembly service (flv-mp3.com/ru/flv).
Step 7
On the website of this service, upload a video, and then open the service and paste the link to your file in the appropriate field. Copy the html-code generated by the service to the flash player. Turn off the visual editor in the new post on your site and paste the copied code into the post. Save the entry.
