Launched in 2006 by Jack Dorsey, the new social network Twitter (from the word "twitter", "tweet"), a year later gained insane popularity. Since then, the company has continued to develop.
The social network Twitter is firmly in the top ten most popular both in Russia and abroad. Moreover, Twitter came to our country in 2011. It became possible to run your own blog and, at the same time, especially not to paint all the thoughts, but to issue phrases up to 140 characters - the microblog format gained popularity.
The company, continuing to develop dynamically, periodically changed the design of the interface, making it better and more interesting. And just recently, the network's logo changed again, which led to the first wave of bewilderment.
In June 2012, Twitter's logo changed. Designers and management ditched the old spellings, abbreviations, bird images and drew a new feathered character. This is the same Larry, a light blue bird, but he was "shaved". On the head there is no longer a cheerful and perky crest. Moreover, the bird changed its direction of flight. It does not fly straight, but upward, which certainly reflects the company's aspirations for popularity.
According to the developers of the logo (this can be tracked, in principle, by every person), Larry is drawn using three overlapping circles, which symbolize the intersection of connections, interests and ideas of Twitter microblog users.
The development of the logo, according to experts, took from eight to twenty thousand dollars - a small amount. Along with this, the new logo undoubtedly carries a very important idea. This is also the desire upward - the desire to achieve even greater fame on the social network. It also brings together users from various fields of activity. Also important is Larry's color - sky blue, which carries with it purity and lightness (especially in use).
So far, Twitter continues to gain traction. It is used for online conferences by politicians, read by ordinary housewives and teenagers, and businessmen use it as a platform for advertising.
