If your computer has a video card with VGA output, you can easily connect an additional monitor to your computer and thereby expand the working area of the screen.
Instructions
Step 1
To expand the screen of your computer or laptop, install an additional monitor next to the computer and connect its power cable to the electrical network, and connect the VGA cable to the corresponding connector on the computer's video card.
Step 2
Now you need to configure the output of the image on 2 displays. To do this, right-click on the desktop and select Personalization. In the dialog box that opens, select the "Display" section, and then "Configure display settings".
Step 3
In the window that appears, you will be offered to configure the primary and secondary displays, where you can set not only the resolution of each screen separately, but also specify which of the displays will be primary. The primary display will show the desktop with a taskbar, and the secondary display will show an additional screen area.
Step 4
To complete the configuration, select the "Expand these screens" menu item in the "Multiple screens" section and click the "OK" button. From now on, the working area of the screen will be enlarged within the two displays.
