Mini-chat allows users of your site to communicate directly on the home page without going to a special section of the site. The mini-chat contains the ability to insert emoticons and, like a regular chat, supports online communication.
It is necessary
- - a computer connected to the internet
- - the browser program installed on it
Instructions
Step 1
Register your own chat at cbox.ws to create a mini chat on the site. Follow the link and click the "register" button. Enter your username, email, password, choose the language and style you like. Log in to your account. To edit the appearance, go to the "Appearance" menu and click the "Change style" link. Save the result if you like it. Click the Publish! Button. Next, copy the chat code from the screen in order to make a mini-chat on the site later.
Step 2
Go to your admin section. If your site is created using the Joomla platform, then run the command Admin Panel - Extensions - Modules. Create a new module, select the "Frame" item from the list to link the mini-chat to the site in it. Fill in the form fields, in the title indicate the name "Mini-chat". Select "on", position on the left, access level general. Go to the module settings, and in the url item specify the link from the code, for example, https://www7.cbox.ws/box/?boxid=251197&boxtag=xw5fx8&sec=main. Then specify the frame width 200, height 305, the name of the target cboxmain, click the "save" button
Step 3
Go to the admin section of your site. If your site is built using the Wordpress platform, select the chat widget there to link the mini-chat to the site. Next, drag the chat widget to the required place among the other standard widgets. If you have several chats, then in the code section [wpjschat channel = "_ CHANNEL_ID _"] Default text [/wpjschat], replace the _CHANNEL_ID_ item with the chat number. You need to take it from the settings, if you use one chat, then insert the code [wpjschat channel = "1"] Default text [/wpjschat] into the page. Delete the words Default text. Remove the space after the first parenthesis if you copy the code from here.
