Sometimes it becomes necessary to opt out of using email. For example, this may be due to a switch to a different email service. In such cases, you can turn off your email inbox.
Instructions
Step 1
To disable your e-mail on Google, use the "Disable Service Option" option. Click the Service Configuration tab. Then select the "Email" item. In the window that opens, open the "General" tab. Open the option "Disable service", which will be the last in the list. Click on the "Disable Email" tab.
Step 2
A new page will then open describing the consequences of disabling your email. After reading, please confirm your decision to disable email. The shutdown will occur within 30 minutes. Click "Save Changes".
Step 3
To disable the e-mail in the Yandex mail system in the upper right corner of your page with letters, open "Settings". At the bottom of the page on the left, open the Yandex. Passport Settings menu. Click Delete Mailbox. After that, you will find yourself on the Yandex. Passport page, where a form for deleting a mailbox will be presented. Enter your password and click Remove.
Step 4
Now your Yandex mailbox has been deleted, but your Yandex account remains. To delete it, open "Personal data". At the bottom of the page that opens, click "Delete account". You will be redirected to the page with the form "Deleting a Yandex account". Enter your password and click Remove. After deleting your account, you will be taken to the start page of the search engine.
Step 5
To disable a mailbox in the Mail.ru system, use a special interface.
To do this, log into your mailbox and enter the mailbox name in the "Username" field.
Step 6
Select the required domain from the list provided. Enter your mailbox password in the Password field and click Delete. After that, access to this mailbox will be blocked, and the name will be free 3 months after the mailbox was deleted.
Step 7
To disable an electronic mailbox in the Rambler mail system, log in to the page https://id.rambler.ru and click Remove Name. Confirm your desire to disconnect. After that, your name will be deleted, and the corresponding mailbox. You can also send your mailbox name and password to the address [email protected]
Step 8
To disable a mailbox in the Gmail system, open "Settings" and go to the "Accounts" tab. Click on "Account Settings". Next to the My Services heading, click Edit. Open "Remove Gmail Service".
