Sometimes there are problems with hosting, and it is impossible to move the site to another site - this happens in situations when the site is created on one of the free "site builders". The site engine is firmly tied to the hosting, it cannot be transferred.
Step 2
The problems may be different, but the essence is the same - the site becomes inaccessible to the user. What to do if the information on it is necessary, but was not copied and saved in time? In this case, the site archive saved on the Internet Archive resource will help you. This resource has existed since 1995 and is a real treasure trove of information, keeping the archives of sites existing on the network, as well as graphic materials, video and audio recordings, software. The archive contains over 85 billion saved pages.
Step 3
To find the archive of the site you are interested in, go to the "Internet Archive" and enter the address of the resource you are interested in in the search box at the top of the site page. Pay attention to the input format: the address must be entered without the http prefix, but with www. That is, the entered string should be of the form www.site_name. Also pay attention to the second field, in which you must specify the category of information you are looking for. If you do not know which category to choose, then select the All Media Types option.
Step 4
After entering the site address and choosing a search category, click the Go button. On the new page, you will see a calendar on which the dates the information was saved will be marked. Unfortunately, search robots rarely update pages, sometimes once a year, or even less often, so the information of the last days or months may not be in the archive. To view the found archive, click the desired date on the calendar. You will be redirected to the site, it will be presented in the form in which it existed at the time of saving.
