Learn to notice excuses and signals in the general flow of incoming information. If you, moreover, can recognize the lies that come from the person, you will not fall into his trap set for you. Use multiple sources to verify information. Do not trust one channel of information. Refer to the second, third, and so on as needed. Of course, this is not a complete guarantee of the veracity of the information, but by analyzing the message in this way, you have a better chance of getting closer to the truth.
