Step 1
Many, having installed the "Joomla" content management engine, do not know what to do next, how to create a page and display it in the menu. And this is almost the most basic and simplest thing that you need to be able to do to create a website.
Step 2
In "Joomla" there are two types of pages: static and in sections, to create a static one, go to the engine's admin panel.

Select the "Content" menu item, in the menu that opens, select "Static Content".

Click on the "New" button. In the editor that opens, enter the title of the page, specify its characteristics and properties. When you are done, click on the "Save" button. The page has been created.
Step 5
To create a page in any section, you need to have at least one section and a category in it. Create a section: enter the admin panel, select "Content" - "Sections", click on the "New" button, enter the name and title of the section, for example, "New Section".
Step 6
Create a category: go to the admin panel, select "Content" - "Categories", click on the new button, enter the name and title of the category, for example, "New category". Then select the section in which this category will be located, that is, "New Section". Save the settings.
Step 7
Now select "Content by Section" from the "Content" menu. You will see the created section. Go to this section by clicking the left mouse button on the section. Click on the "New" button, the editor will open, enter the title and title of the page in it. Save.
Step 8
Now display the link to this page in the menu: go to "Menu" - "mainmenu", click on the "New" button. select Content Object Link, then the page you just created. Enter the name of the link to be displayed in the menu. You can also change the position of the link in the menu using the items "Move up" and "Move down".
