Step 1
Set up an Internet connection on your PDA. To do this, activate the corresponding service with your operator. Make sure the mobile device can access the network. Connect your communicator to your computer. It is better to use a special cable for this. Connect the USB port of the computer to the corresponding connector on the fed computer.
Step 2
Download a program that allows you to synchronize your computer with your PDA. Typically, these whitilts are located on the official website of the manufacturer of the used mobile device model. Install this application on your computer and restart it.
Step 3
After connecting the PDA to the computer, select the modem type device operation option. If you select the connection type "USB storage", the connection to the Internet will fail.
Step 4
Run the installed program and click the "Connect" button in the "Internet" menu. Wait until the connection with the operator's server is established. Launch your internet browser and check if your internet connection is active.
Step 5
If you are not able to use the cable, then connect the BlueTooth adapter to the computer. Install the drivers for this hardware and restart your computer. Turn on the activity of the BlueTooth network on the PDA. Search for available devices from your computer. Connect to your communicator.
Step 6
Run the program for communication between the computer and the PDA, and connect to the Internet. Please be aware that the access speed can be quite slow when using a BlueTooth channel. If your communicator supports Wi-Fi, then it is better to use this channel to synchronize your computer and mobile device. Naturally, in any case, you must use a PDA that works with the EDGE / GPRS network.
