Step 1
Connect your webcam to your computer via USB. Install the driver for the camera to your operating system. To do this, simply insert the CD with your webcam driver into the disk drive.
Step 2
After installing the driver, start the Skype program. Open the "Tools" item in the main menu and select the "Settings" sub-item.

On the left side of the pane of the dialog box that appears, find the General settings category. Open it and select the "Video settings" line in the expanded list. The corresponding image settings window for the connected webcam appears on the right.
Step 4
In the test image window, you will see the frames transmitted by your camera. Set up a convenient video frame display mode. After that, save all the changes you make and close the settings window.
Step 5
Call any of your subscribers using the "Video Call" button that appears. During an audio conversation already in progress, you can start transmitting video by using the "Start video broadcasting" button.
Step 6
You will see a display of your video transmission in a small window at the bottom of the window. This is the kind of video your subscriber will receive.
