Some time after purchasing one or another gadget from Apple, the buyer gets acquainted with such a program as iTunes. With its help, you can put things in order in your music files, sorting everything into albums and sorting by artist, and at the same time create a beautifully designed media library for yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
If you are not registered in iTunes yet, download the program from the official Apple website and install it on your computer. To make it easier to later attach covers to files, start by organizing your entire music library. Try to select the tracks you want, delete those that you don't listen to, put everything into albums. For individual tracks, you can create a folder, and then drop them into it.
Step 2
So, upload albums sorted into folders to iTunes. By the way, it is more convenient to download not all files at once, but album after album. Add music by simply dragging and dropping it into the program window. Alternatively, you can click the "File" menu and then click on the "Add folder to library" column. There is no fundamental difference between these two methods. Use whichever is easiest for you.
Step 3
After adding music albums, start customizing their appearance. For example, you can arrange them in a grid, sort them by genre, year, title or rating, in descending or ascending order.
Step 4
To edit the names of artists, albums, and more, use a dedicated program or go through the process manually. It should be noted that working with the program will significantly reduce the setup time. If you chose the second method, then open iTunes, right-click on the file and select the "Information" section. Fill in the required fields in it.
Step 5
After adding music files and signing tags, you will see fully formed albums on the desktop of the program. The cover is the only thing missing. Now you can do it in two ways. When you select the first one, iTunes will do all the work for you, that is, it will automatically select covers, focusing on the data you specified about albums and artists. All design in this case will be downloaded from the official website of the program. However, for this you must have a registration in the system. Log in to click the "Download Covers" button. In addition, the covers can be downloaded from the Internet yourself. Insert them by right-clicking on the album, selecting the "Information" line, and then the "Cover" tab.
