When installing Yandex bar, the "Settings protection" option is enabled by default. It is needed in order to remember the current address of the home page in the browser and notify you about it when changing. This will help preserve your settings if you try to change them without your knowledge. However, such notifications can be too intrusive.

Step 1
Go to the main system menu by clicking the "Start" button. Click on "Run …". Enter "msconfig" (without quotes) and click OK. The System Configuration window will open.
Step 2
Go to the startup tab and in the first column with the name "Startup item" find the item "Yandex Defender". Uncheck the box next to it. Confirm saving of the changes made by clicking OK.
Step 3
Go to Control Panel and select "Programs and Features". The uninstall program change window will open. Find the program "Yandex. Bar" in the list and click "Uninstall". The process of removing Yandex bar, and with it the Yandex defender, will be launched for a short time.
Step 4
Go to the Windows Task Manager by pressing the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Esc. Make sure that there are no processes in the list with the names "Yandex Bar", "Yandex Defender" and Praetorian.exe.
Step 5
Find the YandexBar subdirectory in the Program Files directory on the C drive and delete it.
Step 6
Restart your computer and make sure that Yandex Defender no longer displays notifications about changing the home page.
