A mailbox is a space on a mail server's disk for receiving and storing messages. Sometimes it becomes necessary to disable or completely delete your mailbox. To do this, it is not necessary to contact the support service, it is quite possible to carry out the operation yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
To temporarily disable a mailbox, follow these steps. Open your home page and click on the required domain name. Then click "Mail". Click on the email address you want to suspend temporarily. In the Tools group, click Mailbox and uncheck the Mailbox box. Confirm your wish by clicking "OK".
Step 2
To resume service for a disabled mailbox, you need to go through the same steps as when temporarily disconnecting it. That is, open your home page and click on the required domain name. Then click "Mail". Click on the email address whose work you want to restore. In the Tools group, click Mailbox and select the checkbox next to Mailbox. Confirm your wish by clicking "OK".
Step 3
To temporarily suspend the postal service for all mailboxes that are registered on a domain, open your home page and click on the required domain name. Then click "Mail". In the Tools group, click Disable.
Step 4
To resume service for all mailboxes that are registered on the domain, follow the same steps as when they were suspended. That is, open your home page and click on the required domain name. Then click "Mail". In the Tools group, click Enable.
To disable the Exchange Server mailbox, you need to follow these steps. First, open the Exchange Management Console. Then go to "Recipient Settings". Click on the "Mailbox" node. Select the mailbox you want to disconnect and click Disconnect in the action bar. Confirm your desire by clicking "Yes".
