More than half of all blocks in Minecraft are made of stone. This is the most common material in the game, but it is fraught with difficulties in obtaining it.
Necessary
- - any pickaxe;
- - water;
- - lava;
- - enchanting table.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, one must understand that the stone cannot be mined with an ordinary pickax that is not enchanted to a silk touch. By destroying stone blocks, you only mine cobblestone.
Step 2
Fortunately, cobblestone is easily smelted into stone in stoves. To do this, open the furnace interface, put a cobblestone in the upper cell, and fuel in the lower one. Coal or a bucket of lava is best for fuel.
Step 3
The stone can be obtained with a pickaxe enchanted with a silk touch. Since this is a rare enchantment, it can take a lot of enchanting attempts. You can enchant books, you can immediately use a pickaxe. Since the enchantment is randomly applied, it is easier to enchant ten books at least at level seventeen, and get a silk touch by transferring it to a pickaxe on an anvil, than to enchant ten pickaxes. Keep in mind that due to the rarity of the enchantment, it only makes sense to use it on a diamond pickaxe, which is stronger than any other pickaxe. With a tool with a silk touch applied, you can mine blocks that you would not otherwise get, such as mycelium - the block on which mushrooms grow. If you destroy a mycelium block with a normal tool, ordinary earth will fall out of it.
Step 4
Another way to get some rock is to take advantage of the properties of water and lava, when lava falls on the water, they form a rock. Stone generators are built on this principle, however, even in this case, you will need an enchanted pickaxe.
