Step 1
When placing images on the site, pay attention to the quality of the images. It is best to upload reduced versions or copied from the original. Never send images to a moderator in tiff, psd or raw format. Authorship can only be proved by those who have the originals of the pictures in their hands.

Create a copyright sign on your pictures that will contain full information about the author. To do this, you need to fill in the authour, owner, etc. fields. Be sure to indicate one of the options for contacting you, for example, the official website or email address. In some cases, it is possible to enter the number and series of the passport.
Step 3
Use a watermark image in your drawings. This can be done using graphic editors (Adobe Photoshop) or special utilities (PhotoWaterMark, iWaterMark, etc.). As a result, you can add an inscription to the image that will restrict copying.
Step 4
Set a strong password for access from unwanted site visitors. This can be done using a server-side scripting language or standard tools of the Apache web server. First, create a folder for pages on the server and move all the pages that you want to protect into it. In this folder, you need to place a.htaccess file that contains instructions for the web server. Enter into it instructions on the request from an unauthorized visitor to enter a username and password.

Create an empty file in any text editor and enter the following directives into it: AuthType Basic (message to the server that the contents of the folders are provided only to an authorized visitor); AuthName ("This page is protected!"); AuthUserFile /usr/your_host/your_site/.htpasswd (here is the path to the protected file); require valid-user (requires the visitor's login to belong to a specific group).
