If you are using an ADSL Internet connection, you probably want to increase your data transfer speed. To optimize the speed of Internet access, you need to use a whole range of measures related to setting up software and identifying mechanical equipment malfunctions.

Advanced System Care
Instructions
Step 1
Start by checking the status of the devices that create your network. If you are using an ADSL modem, then connect it to the telephone line through a splitter. Using this small device can significantly reduce interference and ensure high-quality operation of the Internet channel.
Step 2
Make sure there is no damage to the telephone cable. If you find numerous twists and other homemade connections, replace the cable. Damaged and repaired cables can be used to connect a landline phone, but not an ADSL modem.
Step 3
Now start configuring the software. Reset the modem parameters by pressing the required button on the device case. Reconfigure your network equipment. The presence of a voluminous routing table that is created while the modem is running can negatively affect the quality of the network.
Step 4
Optimize your computer. To do this, carry out a comprehensive cleaning of the system. Correct registry errors using RegOrganaizer or CCleaner. Remove all temporary files created by browsers and other programs.
Step 5
Download the Advanced System Care utility from www.iobit.com. Install this program and run it. During installation, select the DSL item and specify the connection speed declared by the provider. Open the "Utilities" tab and click on the "Internet Assistant" icon. Highlight the Automatic Configuration option and click Next.
Step 6
Find the "Connection Speed" field and move the slider to the desired mark. Click the "Forward!" and wait while the program configures the network access parameters.
