Ready-made sites are usually supplied in the form of engine files, as well as files of the site itself and databases. To install them, you should upload a website running under the WordPress content management system to the hosting.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure you have a delegated domain attached to your hosting. Start uploading engine files to the hosting. Use the ftp manager to open your personal account (any ftp manager will do, but it's better to use the free FileZilla program). On the right side of the program, the status of files on the server will be displayed, and on the left - on the computer. Also, on the left side of the program on your computer, you will see the Wordpress folder. You will need to copy its contents to the site folder on the hosting, which is located in the public-html directory. After the platform has been uploaded to the site, proceed to uploading the databases.
Step 2
Go to the admin panel on the hosting, create a new user profile with a password for it. The main page of the hosting admin panel is labeled "MySQL databases". Click on it and you will be taken to a page that allows you to download databases from your computer. Find the required database on your PC and load it in the appropriate window. Next, you just need to configure certain parameters for the normal functioning of the server.
Step 3
Link the previously created profile to the new database and assign it the appropriate permissions. Start the ftp manager and find the config.php file located in the root folder of the page and start editing it. The "Database name" field should contain the name of the loaded database, "Username" - the name of the previously created user, and in the password field, accordingly, you need to enter the password you specified when creating a new user profile. Save all changes and update the site file on the server. If the file name contains config-sample.php, then it must be renamed to config.php. This completes the installation of the site files.
