Quiet Internet Pager or QIP is known to the general public as a client of the ICQ instant messaging protocol of the same name. It differs from all the others in the complete absence of advertising, free of charge, speed of work and economy of traffic. In addition, there are versions of QIP that are supported by different platforms ranging from Java to Android.

QIP 2005 (Infium, 2010) client installed on your computer, any ICQ account that you are logged into
Instructions
Step 1
Log into QIP with your ICQ account. If you are logging in for the first time, you will need to enter the ICQ number and password to it. Remember! The password is case sensitive. If you enter the Program using QIP 2010 or Infium, it will be desirable for you to register with QIP.ru services.
Step 2
Open the main QIP window. By default, it is invoked by a mouse click on the green flower icon in the tray, next to the clock. At the bottom of this window, you will see a button (Your status) with a green flower in glasses. Click on it. A drop-down menu of the main ICQ statuses will open, including such statuses as "Working", "Away", "Unavailable" and others. You can use any of them depending on the situation.
Step 3
In the main window, above and to the right of the "Your status" button, there is another button that will allow you to change your status picture. By analogy with the previous status, here you can choose any picture, depending on the situation in which you are. At this point there are such statuses as: "Evil", "I think", "Love" and others. In addition, after choosing a picture, you can write an additional commentary on it, which can be read by other ICQ members.
