QIP status is an essential attribute of the modern user of this program. Usually it is asked to avoid unnecessary questions, to communicate with a limited number of people, and sometimes to attract the attention of online interlocutors.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch the QIP program, enter your username and then password. If the program is minimized, click on the "QIP" icon and thus open the program.

When the main QIP window opens on the screen, click on the icon at the bottom of the window.

In the list of icons that appears, view the various status states. The QIP instant messenger provides three options for setting and viewing the status.

All statuses are displayed with three icons. The bottom long panel shows the main status - "Invisible", "Invisible to all" (in most cases, it is set by default), "Away", "Unavailable", "Depression", "Angry" and the like. To view the main status, click on the long bottom bar.

Next to the long bar is an eye icon that shows a private status with a list of different status states. Click on the eye icon.

In addition to icons with fixed values, you can concretize your status by adding any record to the corresponding window - about what you are interested in, what is bothering you, etc. To do this, press the "status-picture" button, select the icon corresponding to the meaning of the inscription, and write additional text in the field located at the top.

The third operation for selecting a status includes status pictures, to view which click on the button with the logo in the form of a flower in the lower right corner in the main QIP window.
