Step 1

During installation, it is recommended to follow the prompts of the installation package, but it is advisable to uncheck the items "QIP-Online", "QIP-search", etc., that is, elements that can change the way your browser works. Logically, you don't need additional components.

Run the program by double-clicking the left mouse button on the program icon on the desktop. If the QIP Infium icon is not on the desktop, click the "Start" menu, select the "All Programs" item, click on the QIP Infium folder and click on the icon of the same name.

In the window that opens, you need to create your account or enter the data of an existing account. After downloading the program, press the "Menu" button (located at the bottom of the program) and select "Settings".

In the window that opens, go to the "Accounts" section. In the right part of the window, find the ICQ item and, opposite the corresponding number, click the "Configure" link.
In the "ICQ Options" window, select the "Client ID" section, specify the ICQ value 6 in the "Available identifiers" field.

If it is impossible to connect to the server, which was described at the very beginning of this material, it is necessary to configure the "Proxy server" configuration. Click on the "Menu" button in the main program window, select the "Settings" item, then select the "Connection" section.
Step 8
In the window that opens, uncheck the "Set proxy settings manually" item. Insert the information received earlier from your provider into the fields. Click the OK button to close this window.
