Russians make hundreds of thousands of purchases every day on AliExpress. In order for the parcels to reach the recipient intact and safe, the seller provides the buyer with a track number immediately after sending the parcel by the postal service. Where can I see the track number and how to track the order online?
Any parcel, wherever it was sent from, receives a certain code from the postal service (including courier, international mail, air and ground mail), which is called a "track number". Different countries have their own designations and numbering. However, if the goods are delivered from one country to another, then it must receive an international tracking number.
Aliexpress has strict requirements for sellers, and all parcels sent must be confirmed with a tracking number. The site monitors the location of the parcel online and informs the buyer about it in the personal account. Sellers are also interested in the availability of a track number, since if the parcel is in the hands of the buyer (which is confirmed on the postal site), the seller on Aliexpress has the right to receive his money from the site.
Often, buyers on the AliExpress platform, not knowing all the functionality of the site, expect confirmation from the seller to send the order with a track number to e-mail, when they could just go to their personal account on the site and see the number on their own. And then calculate the place of movement of the parcel.
- Log in to the AliExpress website, go to the "My Orders" tab in the upper right corner of the screen.
- You will see a list of all orders. Find the order you need. And to the right of it, click on the "View data" button.
- The purchase page will open. Look for the tracking code at the bottom of the screen. The tracking block will show where the parcel is moving around the world, if it is already registered at the post office and data about it has been transferred to the tracking system.
- Another section, which displays the track number of the parcel to Aliexpress. In the general list with orders in your personal account, there is an additional button "Check tracking" to the right of the product. It appears when the seller has already entered tracking into the system. Hover over the non-mouse cursor and in the pop-up window at the top you will see the actual tracking number. For details, click on this button and go to the section with the movement of goods by countries, customs and world zones.
Trackers
However, you can also study the path of the goods through any aggregator for tracking international mail, combining many services at once, and not only, for example, on the website of the Russian Post (where information about some international parcels from little-known transport companies may not be available at all).
Special services (they are called "trackers") and mobile applications in a matter of minutes will provide comprehensive data on the movement of purchases, as they collect them from various e-mail sites online.
