The task of determining the IP address of the interlocutor in the Skype application or the ICQ instant messenger cannot be solved by the means of the programs themselves, but some methods still exist. First of all, this concerns the built-in tools of the OS Windows.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the main system menu of the computer by clicking the "Start" button to initiate the determination of the IP address of the interlocutor in the Skype application and go to the "Run" item. Enter the value taskmgr in the "Open" line and authorize the execution of the command to launch the Windows Task Scheduler utility by clicking the OK button.
Step 2
Expand the "View" menu of the upper service panel and specify the Select columns command. Select the PID (Process Idetifier) sub-item and confirm your choice by clicking OK. Identify the string with the value Skype.exe and note the process ID of the found process.
Step 3
Return to the main system menu "Start" and once again call the "Run" dialog. Enter cmd in the Open text box and use the OK button to confirm the launch of the Command Prompt tool.
Step 4
Enter the value netstat -0 | grep saved_PID_Process_Skype.exe and authorize the execution of the specified command by pressing the function key Enter. Determine the IP addresses of all subscribers online and terminate the connection with the subscriber to be determined. Reconnect to be sure that the specific IP address of the interlocutor is correct.
Step 5
Open the settings of your firewall and try to send a file to the subscriber whose IP address you need to determine. Look at the network addresses of the packets being sent and find the one you need (this method will be effective only if the file is sent directly).
Step 6
Download and install on your computer a specialized application QIP Unmask, designed to facilitate and automate the determination of the IP address of the interlocutor in the QIP and QIP Infium applications. Run the installed application and determine the two IP addresses of the ICQ servers in the log at the bottom of the computer monitor screen. Send the subscriber any file to establish a direct connection and determine the required IP address.
