Step 2
When you have wired Internet and there is no speed limit clause in the terms of service provision, you need to contact the company providing the Internet service. Breakouts on the line, high network congestion, technical work are possible. In any case, you will need expert advice. Perhaps your plan is out of date and the terms of use on it have changed. Then you will need to change your tariff plan.
Step 3
Some browsers, such as Opera, have a Turbo function. It is needed in order to increase the page load speed on a slow connection. Check to see if you have disabled it. If so, resume Turbo mode.
Step 4
The download speed also depends on the server on which it is located. In case of malfunctions and technical work on the site, the download speed may be reduced. Otherwise, the site may not load at all. You need to wait a while, the speed will probably be restored.
Step 5
Check the modem is working properly. Review the device settings if the software came with it. Perhaps the speed limit was covered in the program.
Step 6
If you are using a torrent manager, the download speed will depend on the number of uploaders. If you have not changed the settings of the torrent manager, the increase in speed will be observed with the addition of the torrent manager.
