In the process of communication on social networks, situations often arise when complete strangers send an offer to become friends. It doesn't matter which social network you use - the virtual friend proposal looks the same everywhere.
Instructions
Step 1
To respond to the invitation received and add the user as a friend, open any Internet browser and load the add request page.
Step 2
If you have opened a page of a social network that you most often visit, and a window immediately appeared on the screen with the message “User so-and-so wants to add you as a friend,” then you have received a virtual friend proposal.
Step 3
Sometimes a friend request appears faster among your e-mails. In this case, in the "Inbox" folder, you will see a letter where it will be written that a user with such and such a login asks to be included in the list of friends.
Step 4
Do not rush to follow the link and check if the source of the "spam" mailing is not. To do this, click on the username in the e-mail box or in the message box of the social network. Examine all the information provided by the user in your profile.
Step 5
If you are not familiar with this person and do not see any common ground, reject the friendship offer or ignore it.
Step 6
If you are familiar with the user or you liked his profile, agree to the received offer of friendship. As virtual friends, you can not only communicate with the person you are interested in, but also expand your circle of acquaintances to the user's “friends”.
Step 7
To add a found user as a friend, go back to your social network account and find the section about friends in the menu bar.
Step 8
Friendship proposals are usually saved in items such as Friends or Alerts. Click on the desired item and find the username in the list that appears. Highlight the friendship proposal entry and click the Accept option at the bottom of the window.
Step 9
In case you want to reject the friendship offer, instead of the “Accept” function, click on the “Reject” item.
