It is necessary

  • - mailbox
  • - text editor
  • - graphic editor or program for creating screenshots

Instructions

Step 1

Log into your mailbox, and open the service to create a new letter. Find in it the column that is responsible for saving a copy in the Sent Items folder. It can have different names: "Save to Sent Items", "Save a copy", etc. Check this box if it was not automatically activated. Thus, once sent to the recipient, a copy of your message will be stored in your mailbox in the appropriate folder. The absence of a letter in Sent Items means that the message was not delivered. If the checkbox is not checked when writing a letter, it means that the function of automatically saving a copy of the letter is not set in the mailbox settings. Accordingly, in order for outgoing messages to be saved in the appropriate folder, you need to change the mailbox settings.

Step 2

Copy the text of the letter into a text editor and save it on your computer. In this case, you will be able to have access to the history of correspondence without going online. This method is good in cases where the archive of messages is necessary for internal control over the conduct of correspondence.

Step 3

Take a screenshot of the letter even before it is sent. This method will allow you to prove the fact of sending a message in the event of a dispute with the recipient. To do this, type the entire text of the message. Then press the "PrtSc SysRq" key on the computer keyboard. Open the standard graphics editor Paint and press the key combination Ctrl + V. A copy of the desktop will appear in the graphical editor field as an image. After that, return to the field for creating a message and click on the "Send" button. After that, the page of the sending result should be loaded. If the mailbox service informs you that the letter has been sent to the addressee, then take a screenshot of this page as well. These two images will serve as irrefutable evidence that you sent the letter and the postal service is responsible for delivering the message.
