Instructions

Step 1

It seems to all of us that the Internet is limitless. However, in local user locations this is not entirely true. The mailbox capacity has a certain limit set by the administration of the electronic resource. If the work of your mailbox is configured in such a way that it saves every letter sent and received, sooner or later you will not be able to correspond from an overflowing mailbox, and you will have to delete letters.

Step 2

To completely empty the Outbox folder or delete only certain messages, log in to your mailbox. In the navigation menu of the mail resource, click on the "Sent Items" link, and you will be taken to the folder that stores outgoing messages. Select the email you want to get rid of.

Step 3

If you need to make sure that you are deleting a letter that has lost its relevance, read it. You can open a letter in the Sent Items folder in the same way as incoming letters - by clicking on their name.

Step 4

There is a "Delete" button in the body of an open outgoing message. It's at the bottom of the screen. Click on it with the left mouse button. The letter will be automatically sent to the "Basket", without specifying the request from the administration of the resource.

Step 5

If you want to delete a lot of unnecessary emails and can't waste time reading them, delete them right away. To do this, tick off each letter that needs to be deleted. The checkbox is located to the left of the letter title and the sender's name. To select all letters in the Sent Items folder, click the down arrow button located on the taskbar above the list of letters. Place the cursor on the "Select all letters" column, press the left mouse button. Now, with one click on the "Delete" button, which is located on the upper taskbar of an open folder, you will move all marked letters to the "Trash".

Step 6

Open the "Trash". You need to follow the same procedure for flagging emails as in the Sent Items folder. Select unnecessary correspondence and click the "Delete" button. Your mailbox is now cleared.
