With the advent of social networks, free video hosting sites and other delights of virtual life, we exchange photos, links to video and audio recordings and other information with friends and colleagues every day. Those who know a little about building sites or html-code insert this information into new posts. And if you have the opportunity to make yourself a page on the Internet and upload your favorite video, then you can not use video hosting services, but upload the video directly to your page.
It is necessary
- - video recording
- - flv-player
Instructions
Step 1
There can be many reasons for posting a video on your page, but the main thing is that regardless of the presence of an Internet connection, you can always watch this video offline. In order to place a video from your computer on your page, you need the following.
Download and upload flv-player to your site, which will work with flash support. Use the search engine and select any flv-player. This example is based on a player from flowplayer.org. Always download only the latest versions of the files (they fix all the past developer bugs). Upload flv-player to your site (via FTP).
Step 2
On the page where we will post our video, we write the following code (this is the code only for the flowplayer):
flowplayer ("player", "/flowplayer/flowplayer-3.1.5.swf");
Step 3
Prepare a video for flv-player. If your video is of a different format (not flv), then it must be converted to the “.flv” format. This can be done in any file converter.
Upload the converted video to the site. Do not forget to specify the name of the file in the flv-player'a code, which was described above.
