Instructions
Step 1
Install the necessary software on your computer and connect your phone to your computer using bluetooth or usb cable. If you do not have a synchronizer program, but only a driver package, then after connecting the mobile to the computer, the system will start installing it, then in the appropriate window specify the path to the folder with the necessary drivers.
Step 2
After you have connected your mobile and installed all the drivers, click "start"> "control panel"> "printers and faxes"> "phone and modem", specify, in this window, the country and your city code, then click " ok ". In the "phone and modem" window, go to the "modems" tab, check the box - phone modem and click on "properties". In the window "properties (name of the modem)" go to the tab "additional communication parameters". At this point, write the initialization string and click "ok". Before that, ask the service center or your telecom operator for the string.
Step 3
Click Start> Control Panel> Network Connections> Create New Connection. In the new window, click "next". In the opened window "type of network connection" put a check mark on the item "connect to the Internet" and click on the button "next". Check "establish a connection manually"> "next"> "via modem"> "next". And in the “select device” window, check the box only for the phone modem for which the initialization string was written. And click "next". Enter a name for the connection and click on the "next" button. Enter the phone number, which you can find out in advance at the service center or from the operator, and click "next". There is no need to change anything further, press “next” and “done”.
Step 4
Open the "internet connection" window and click "properties". On the General tab, check the box for the phone modem you are configuring and click Configure. In the opened "modem configuration" window, uncheck all the boxes and click "ok". On the Settings, Advanced and Security tabs, do not change anything and go to the Network tab. In the window "type of remote access server to connect" select "PPP: Windows, Internet" and click "options". In the new window, uncheck all the boxes and click "ok". In the "components used by this connection" window that opens, check the boxes: "Internet Protocol (TCP / IP)" and "QoS packet scheduler". Click on the "properties" button, and also mark: "get the IP address and DNS server address automatically", and click "advanced". In the "additional parameters" window, uncheck the "use compression of IP headers" checkbox, click "ok" and close all windows.
Step 5
Connection setup is complete. In order to connect to the Internet go to "start"> "network connections"> "internet". In the "internet connection" window, press the "call" button and wait for the connection.
