There are two aggregate parameters that determine the overall speed of the Internet connection - the incoming and outgoing speed. The last parameter, more often called "return", depends not only on the provider, but also on many other reasons.
The upload speed can be adjusted both at the software level and at the provider level. Often, low upload rates depend on the tariff you choose and the quality of the service provided. Try to ask your provider for details of all the options for your tariff plan. Most of the new providers provide services on an equal division of speed, for example, outgoing and incoming speed = 10 Mb / s.
When using different torrent clients, you need to make sure that the "recoil" is not artificially reduced. An example will be considered on one of the common uTorrent clients. Launch it by double clicking on the icon on your desktop. If at the end of the work it was closed from the tray, the program window should not appear on the screen. Open the main window by double clicking on the tray icon.
Right-click in the lower right corner of the utility (line "Recoil"). Select the appropriate speed by left-clicking on this value. Please note that when using torrent clients, the upload speed also depends on the number of people uploading at the moment. The peak of this parameter, as a rule, is reached only late at night (due to the time difference in time zones).
Low speed may initially exist at the hardware level. To check this, you need to launch a browser and enter the address https://192.168.1.1 in the address bar and press the Enter key. In the window that opens, enter admin as the username and password, then click the "OK" button.
On the loaded page, go to the first tab Device Info (Information, Info, etc.). Find the Line Rate - Upstream parameter. Some ADSL modem models do not allow overclocking over 768 Kbps, which is a rather low speed. In this case, it is possible to increase the speed only by changing the appropriate equipment.
