The procedure for setting up an Internet connection in manual mode directly depends on the type of device used. However, some general algorithms can be recommended to all users.

Step 1
When using a dial up modem, you need to install the appropriate model drivers and create a new connection. To do this, call the main menu by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "Control Panel" item. Select the task of creating a new connection and select the "Connect to the Internet" command. Apply the checkbox to the "Via regular modem" field and type the name of the connection to be created and the phone of the service provider in the corresponding fields. Enter your account and password information and launch the connect icon.
Step 2
When using an ADSL modem, keep the same procedure, but apply the checkbox in the line "Via high-speed connection". Next, just run the created shortcut.
Step 3
When using a dedicated line, open the main menu by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "Control Panel" item. open the "Network Connections" link and select the "Local Area Connection" section. Call the context menu of the required connection by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Properties" item. Select the "Internet Protocol" item and type the IP addresses provided by the ISP in the corresponding fields of the dialog box that opens.
Step 4
When using a mobile modem from the “Big Three” mobile operators, simply connect the modem with the installed SIM card to the computer. The rest of the actions will be performed automatically. The SkyLink operator's modem presupposes the pre-installation of its own software and drivers.
Step 5
When using a smartphone running Windows Mobile and supporting the GPRS function, you will need to enter the main menu of the device and select the "Settings" item. Go to the "Connections" section and select the "Create a new connection" command. Enter the connection name, GPRS, hotspot name, account and password information provided by your network operator.
