Step 1
Pay attention to the parameters that need to be checked: JavaScript is the language used for browser scripts, Java is a complex programming technology, pop-up windows are additional functions of some sites, cookies are files that store information about web pages.

For Internet Explorer, JavaScript is enabled in the Security tab. In the "Internet Options" menu, click on the "Internet" icon and set the standard settings by clicking on the "Default" button. Check JavaScript in Mozilla Firefox browser. Open the "Content" tab, adjust the resolution in the "Use JavaScript" line. To do this, uncheck or check the corresponding checkbox.
Step 3
JavaScript language can be blocked by antivirus or firewall. Web browsing with JavaScript turned off will be limited or impossible.
Step 4
Check the presence of Java on your computer and the resolution of this technology in the browser itself. In order to find the Java settings in Internet Explorer, go to the "Internet Options" menu, then to the "Advanced" tab, where check Use JRE. In the Mozilla Firefox browser, find the "Content" tab and enable the "Use Java" option.
Step 5
The "Additional pop-up windows" function is required depending on the activity of a particular site. Pop-ups are useful, and they can be responsible for some optional parameters.

To check these settings in Internet Explorer, look for the "Tools" tab and the line "Pop-up Blocker". In the window that opens, include trusted sites in the "allowed" - copy the name of the site into the line "Address of the website receiving permission". To configure the Mozilla Firefox browser, go to the "Content" tab and check the presence of a check box next to the line "Block pop-up windows", then click the "Exclude" button and add addresses of trusted sites.
Step 7
Cookies are files that support the exchange of data between the browser and the server. To check cookies in Internet Explorer, go to the Internet Options menu and find the Privacy tab. To set the default values, click the "Default" line. If you are not satisfied with the standard settings, find the "Sites" button, and in the window that opens, add trusted sites to the allowed ones.
Step 8
In order to check the cookie settings in the Mozilla Firefox browser, go to the "Privacy" tab. To set the default settings, check the box next to the "Accept cookies from sites" option. In order to set your own settings, click the "Exceptions" button and add the addresses of trusted sites.
