Add-ons add various additional features to the browser: blocking advertising banners, toolbars, an animated option. These options make it much easier for the user to surf the Internet.
Instructions
Step 1
Many add-ons on your computer can be installed by default. This may be the case if the add-in is part of another program that you installed earlier. And some are automatically installed together in Windows.
Step 2
Users most often use versions of Internet Explorer 7 and 8. To enable add-ons in Internet Explorer 7, you need to launch the browser, to do this, double-click on the corresponding shortcut on the desktop. Or open the Start menu and select Internet Explorer from the general list. Click on the top menu "Tools" and select the item titled "Manage add-ons in the drop-down list. Click on the inscription "Enable or disable add-ons."
Step 3
Click in the "Display" field in the button bar on the left side, click on the arrow and select the item titled "Add-ons used by Internet Explorer". This is done so that you can see all the add-ons.
Step 4
Select a group of add-ons or one add-on that you want to enable. Plugin name, file date, version, digital signature will be displayed in the bottom field. There you will also be prompted to search for the add-on using the default search.
Step 5
At the bottom right in the bottom field, you will see a button labeled "Enable". Click on it to enable the add-on or right-click on the desired add-on and select "Enable". Then confirm the operation by clicking "OK".
Step 6
In Internet Explorer 8, select "Tools" in the top menu, then "Add-ons". On the left side of the button bar, after under the name "Display", click on the arrow and select "All add-ons".
Step 7
Select the add-ons you want to activate. In the lower field, click on the "Enable" button or right-click on the "Enable" item. At the end of the procedure, click on the "Close" button.
