After that, Internet Explorer will revert to its original state, and the user will be able to turn on all the necessary settings again.

Step 1
You can use the "Reset Internet Explorer Settings" function directly from the browser control panel. To do this, close absolutely all running applications and go to the "Start" menu (if you have Windows XP). Next, click on the "Run" column, and in the "Open" field that appears, enter the command inetcpl.cpl, click on the "Enter" button. If you are using Windows Vista, then after entering the Start menu, refer to the Start Search box. Enter the already indicated command there and press "Enter".

Next, you will see the "Internet Options" window that opens. Now click on the "Advanced" tab. It will redirect you to a section called "Reset Internet Explorer Settings". Press the "Reset" button twice. Once the browser completes this procedure, close the dialog box in use, and then restart IE. Thus, all the installed settings will function again, however, without any previous extensions and plugins. But please note that these elements will not be deleted, but simply disabled (you can activate them at any time).
Step 3
To automatically restore all settings of the Internet Explorer browser, go to the official Microsoft support site and use a special program. It can be downloaded directly from the link https://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9646978. As soon as you see the "Download" dialog box, click on the "Run" button, and then just follow the wizard's recommendations. However, keep in mind that the installer interface may be in English (although the program itself contains many languages). By the way, if at the time of the procedure you are working from a computer other than the one on which the problem was directly detected, then save the patch file to a removable device (for example, to a flash drive or CD). And then, thanks to him, make a recovery on the desired computer.
