Step 1
Bookmarks in Internet Explorer, unlike other browsers, are located in the "Favorites" section (this tradition has been going on since the first versions of the program). This section is on the top menu and it's pretty easy to bookmark it. In the main window of the program, go to the page you want to remember. Click the top menu "Favorites" and select "Add to favorites".

Next, you should see a small dialog box titled "Add to Favorites". Here you are required to specify your own name for the bookmark by moving the mouse focus to the "Name" field, or leave the previous title. Typically, the default bookmark title includes the site name and a lot of other unnecessary information.

In the same window, select the directory in which the bookmark will be saved, if there are several such directories. To do this, click the "Add to" button. If you want to place a bookmark in a non-existent folder, enter its name in the empty field and click the "New folder" and OK buttons. Returning to the previous window, press OK or press Enter.
Step 4
After creating a new bookmark, preview it. To do this, click the top menu "Favorites", open the recently created folder - there will be a new bookmark inside it. To load the page you have saved, just left-click on the bookmark item.
Step 5
Editing of the created bookmarks can be done by means of the "Arrange favorites" command from the same menu. Bookmarks can be copied, deleted and moved from one directory to another. Pay attention to the case of creating a large number of bookmarks, it is advisable to distribute them to thematic directories. Directories, in turn, can also be edited - renamed or deleted.
