In the computer game Dota 2, the main source for gold mining is the so-called creeps - creatures that are controlled by the computer itself and artificial intelligence. In order to get gold, you need to kill either an enemy creature or an allied one, but at the same time you need to remember that gold is given only to the one who delivers the last blow, thereby destroying it. That is, it does not matter who spent more health on the creature - in this case, only the last gift is important. That is why it is very important to finish off creeps.

How to finish off creeps in Dota 2?

In the Dota 2 game, there are several ways to finish off creeps. If the player has auto-attack enabled in the settings, then when you approach the creep, you need to press the S button on the keyboard until the creature has a minimum of health. After that, the hero will automatically deliver the last, fatal blow. With the attack turned on, you can also just move around the creatures, and when one of them has a minimum amount of health, then just right-click on it. It is worth noting one important nuance, which is that the creeps on the lane should be destroyed only with the last blow. You do not need to immediately attack them and help your own creeps, since in this case you will break through the enemy defense and go to the tower, which you still cannot destroy at the first levels, while you will not be able to effectively destroy enemy creatures.

Denying allied creeps, towers and heroes

Of course, in addition to finishing off enemy creeps, the player can also finish off his own. This is called denying creeps. It is worth noting that this can be done only if the creature has 50% health or less. Finishing off your own creeps is necessary so that the enemy heroes receive less experience. This is not possible by default. This trick is only possible if you hold the A button on your keyboard and essentially right-click.

In addition to creeps in the game Dota 2, you can finish off towers and allied heroes. There are also some nuances here. If you destroy your own tower, then the enemy heroes will receive half the gold for it than they would have destroyed it themselves. In addition, it is possible to carry out our plans only when the tower has 10% health or less. Denying an allied hero is possible only if he has less than 25% health and he is subject to a spell that takes his life. When finishing off an allied hero, enemies receive neither experience nor gold. Thus, it turns out that using the finishing off allied characters, you will be able to defeat your rivals faster and easier.
