Miranda is a popular ICQ messaging client. The program is one of the most popular for working with instant messaging services. With its help, you can not only send text, but also use the file sharing capabilities.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the program by double-clicking the left mouse button on the program icon or using the "Start" menu item. Enter your username and password to access your account, and then wait for the contact list and application interface to load.
Step 2
In the list of users of the ICQ sheet, select the person to whom you want to send a message. If the contact is not online, click on the "Show disconnected contacts" button in the program window and double-click on the desired item to send a message.
Step 3
You will see a window through which messages are exchanged with the user. The tab bar will be available at the top, and the contact's name and number on the network will be listed below. To chat with multiple friends, you can manage tabs. To do this, just click once on the user's nickname.
Step 4
Above the text input window, you will see the button bar, which consists of 3 groups. The first contains a section for managing the menu of the selected contact, where you can use the function "Send file", "Send screenshot", etc. Select this block if you want to attach a picture or a musical document to your letter. The button on the right will allow you to view information about the user, and the next key will open the emoji panel.
Step 5
Use the formatting buttons to set the message font size and formatting style. On the right there are buttons for performing the quoting operation, going to the history of messages with a contact. On the right edge you will see a button for sending a message with an arrow.
Step 6
In the text box at the bottom of the window, enter the text you want to send, and then apply the appropriate formatting. After entering, click on the send icon to send the message, after clicking on which the message will be sent. You can also click on the small down arrow button to set up sending to one or more users.
