Step 1

For correct LAN configuration, set the host IP address 192.168.0.1. This is a very important parameter, because many gateways work with this IP by default.

Step 2

For all other computers on the local network, assign addresses of the same format with the last digit changed. Those. The IP addresses will look like this: 192.168.0. Q, where Q is the local machine number. The subnet mask should remain standard.

Step 3

All computers must have direct access to the host. To do this, turn off Windows Firewall and all firewalls on the host machine. Please note that in addition to separate firewalls, antivirus "firewalls" can run on your computer.

Step 4

In the local computers IPv4 settings, fill in the fields as follows:

Default gateway 192.168.0.1

Preferred DNS Server 192.168.0.1

Step 5

If the IP address 192.168.0.1 is busy for some reason, then in step 4, write

Find your preferred DNS server here:
