Instructions

Step 1

As an example, a variant of actions in the ucoz system is considered. In other systems, the names of commands and buttons may differ, but the semantic meaning is the same. To manage site pages, you must have administrator rights and have access to the control panel.

Step 2

Open the site page and log in to see the additional menu bar. Select on it the item "General" and the command "Login to the control panel". Enter the password and confirm the entry with the control code. Do not forget that the passwords for authorization on the site and for entering the control panel may not coincide.

Step 3

Select the "Page Editor" section on the left side of the screen. Once on the "Module Management" page, select "Site Pages Management". Next, you will be taken to the "Content Management" page, make sure that all the pages available on the site are displayed in the list that opens. If something is missing, set the values "Page editor" and "All materials" in the corresponding fields using the drop-down list.

Step 4

Tools are located opposite the name of each page of the site. To delete a page, click on the button in the form of an [x] and confirm your actions by clicking on the OK button in the request window. The page will be deleted.

Step 5

If you do not want to delete the page, make the materials on it unavailable for viewing. To do this, select the editing tool - the wrench icon. You may need to re-authorize on the site, since pages are managed through the site.

Step 6

At the bottom of the editable page, find the "Options" section and set a marker in the "Page content is temporarily unavailable for viewing" field, and then save the changes. The page will remain on the site, but it will disappear from the menu.

Step 7

You can delete a page without logging into the control panel. After logging into the site, turn on the "Constructor" and when the page changes its appearance, click on the button in the form of a wrench. An additional window "Menu Control" will open. Click on the [x] icon opposite the page you want to delete and confirm your actions. Save your changes.
