Unfortunately, problems with a personal computer are not uncommon, which means that it is better to prepare in advance to solve possible problems. To do this, it is better to create a bootable USB flash drive with the Acronis program in advance.
Why do you need a bootable USB flash drive?
A bootable USB flash drive or disk will allow you to promptly eliminate problems one way or another associated with the "crash" of the operating system, which occurs quite often. Of course, first of all, you need to create a similar media with the operating system stored on it, and this can be done, for example, using the Acronis True Image utility. This program is quite easy to use, which means that users will not have any difficulties.
Creating a bootable USB drive with Acronis
First of all, the user should download or buy Acronis True Image. The image that will be stored on a personal computer will be needed to work with the utility when creating a bootable USB flash drive or disk. The easiest way to create a bootable USB drive is through the WinSetupFromUSB program. At first glance, it may seem that this program is rather complicated, but in reality everything is a little different.
To create a bootable USB flash drive, you need to install it into a USB connector on your computer and run the WinSetupFromUSB_1-0-beta6. After clicking, the main menu will open, where you first need to select the USB flash drive itself to which you want to transfer the boot image. It is worth noting that all information must be moved from the flash drive to another location in advance, since all information on it will be deleted. After selecting the USB drive, you need to press the RMPrepUSB button. In the Add to USB disk field, select the penultimate option and specify the path to the Acronus image and click the Go button.
In the next window, the flash drive is selected again, the NTLDR item is checked in BOOT OPTIONS, NTFS is put in FILESYSTEM, as well as the Boot as HDD and Use 64hd checkboxes. You don't need to make any more settings in this window, you just have to press Prepare Drive. After clicking, two warning windows will appear, where you need to confirm the action using the Ok button.
Then, when all the procedures have been completed, a window will appear, symbolizing the completion of the procedure for creating a bootable USB flash drive with Acronis. The USB stick will then be ready to use. The same procedure can be performed with literally all Acronis software tools that support working with a computer's hard disk.
Finally, it should be noted that the user creates a bootable USB flash drive, and to launch it in the BIOS settings, it is necessary to set the boot from the USB drive. After that, it can be used for its intended purpose.
