Almost everyone uses the Internet. For some it is work, for some it is entertainment, and for some it is both. The SkyNet program allows you to receive files and information from the network without paying for traffic. In order to configure the program, you need to spend only a few minutes of time and perform a few simple operations.
Instructions
Step 1
SkyNet is a program that allows you to use the Internet via satellite. Its only drawback is that you cannot choose which files to upload. The program simply "catches" what is transmitted through official channels. Therefore, the process of using satellite Internet is called "space fishing" - you just catch everything, and then select the "big fish". So, to start using satellite Internet - download and install the SkyNet program.
Step 2
Open the skynet.ini file. By changing the options specified in this file, you can transfer the folders for uploaded files to another hard drive of your computer, set the LNB parameters, as well as the options for entering the transponder and pids (PID). All these settings, as a rule, are spelled out in the skynet.ini itself or in the instructions that are on the site along with the installation archive of the program. In order to move the download folders, you need to copy the folders to another drive and change the lines incomplete = incomplete, temp = temp and ok = ok, replacing them with, for example, incomplete = D: / incomplete, temp = D: / temp and ok = D: / ok. Head parameters (LNB) are written like this: # tuner
lnb = 9750000, 10600000, 11700000 if using a universal LNB, and lnb = 10750000, 0, 10750000 if you have a circular polarized LNB.
Step 3
After configuring the skynet.ini file, start the program. Specify what types of files you want to "catch" by pressing the G key. After that, a special menu will open in which you set the settings for the downloaded files, defining the file extension, the lower and upper limits of its size. Then save the settings with the S key.
Uploaded files will be indicated by a crawling white bar. The completely uploaded file will simply disappear from the program window. If a red stripe appears on the file - attention, an error has occurred in the download.
Step 4
You can configure the program using two more files - regex.txt and rules.txt. However, their configuration is rather complicated, and the slightest mistake leads to incorrect operation of SkyNet, so it is better not to change the conditions prescribed in them at first.
