Step 1
Download Skype from the developer's site for further use. After downloading, select the interface language, agree to the user agreement. In the program window, go to "Settings" and select the method of launching the program. Then click on the "Install" button. Here it is proposed to install applications, but if they are not needed, you can refuse to use them.

After installation, the Skype icon will appear on the desktop. Try the program right away, but first connect the required headset - headphones, microphone and webcam. Set up your microphone and camera by going to the "Tools" section, where you need to select "Sound Settings" and "Video Settings", and install the hardware. After installation, click on the "Save" button.

Find other Skype subscribers in order to start chatting in the program. To do this, go to the "Contacts" section and select "Search for Skype subscribers". Enter your name, nickname or email into the search bar and start searching. After you find the right person, call him. To do this, right-click on the subscriber's nickname and select "Call". Wait for an answer. You can also add the person to your contacts list. To do this, click "Add Skype Contact". The operation is performed instantly, and the subscriber will be in the list of your contacts. You can call him by pressing the green key.
Step 4
Send messages and files to any subscribers. Open the dialog box, right-click on the subscriber's name and start chatting. There will be icons next to the dialog box. Click on the plus. Select - "Send file" and send the required data in any format.

Add any number of subscribers to the contact list. Change the program settings to your liking and enjoy high quality Skype communication. Audio compression technology, which is applied without loss of its quality, allows you to use the program even through a modem connection. Do not forget to enter your personal data when setting up the program so that other users can find you easily.
Step 6
Call using Skype to any phones in any country. To do this, you need to pay for one of the offered tariff plans. This is one of the most cost-effective ways to reach the right subscriber. But you won't be able to find the phone number in the application, enter it yourself.
