Sooner or later, you can decide to stop using the VKontakte social network and delete your personal page so that no one else can go to it and watch your photos, music, posts on the wall.
The traditional way
To leave VKontakte once and for all, you will have to look at your page for a few more minutes. And for this you need to go to your profile. This can be done in several ways: go to the main page of the social network and enter in the appropriate fields the e-mail address used when registering on the site, which acts as a login, and a password. After that, click the "Login" button. The second method is much easier, but for it you will need to save it in your browser bookmarks and then just click on this link.
Once on your personal page, take a close look at its left side. There, next to the main photo, a small list of services available to you will be presented: albums, messages, groups, audio recordings, etc. To make various changes you will need to go to the "My Settings" section. To do this, it will be enough to click on the link with the corresponding inscription and wait for the next page to open.
Scroll the mouse wheel to the end of the page and at the bottom find the inscription "You can delete your page." Click on the link "delete your page" in it and in a new window indicate the reason why you are going to leave the social network. To do this, you will need to choose one of the following options: "I have another page", "VKontakte is taking too much of my time", "VKontakte is too much inappropriate materials." You can also check the following points: “I am concerned about the security of my personal data”, “My page is not being commented on” or indicate another reason in a special field.
In this section there is an option "Tell your friends". By default, it is active, but you can uncheck this box, and then your friends will not know that you have left VKontakte.
After you indicate the reason for removing your profile from the site, click the "Remove page" button. After that, in a new window that opens, a page will appear with the following content “User's page has been deleted. Information is not available".
Alternative options for "goodbye"
On various forums on the Internet, in groups, you can find other options for deleting a page on VKontakte. For example, some users suggest sending spam to other site members, insulting, posting inappropriate photos and other materials. Naturally, after such behavior, the users to whose address your messages and comments were sent will start complaining about you, and the site administration will block you or completely delete you. You can experience for yourself how effective this method will be.
Quite often the following advice appears: find the page of the founder of VKontakte Pavel Durov and start being rude to him. As these members of the forum suggest, in this case, you can fly out of the site pretty quickly.
However, I think what all these troubles are for if there are simpler and more legal ways to delete a page on the network.
