Want to transfer bookmarks from Google Chrome to another device? Take your time to do it manually - you can sync bookmarks automatically, you just need to link the bookmarks to your Gmail account.
It is necessary
- - Gmail account;
- - Google Chrome browser on both devices.
Instructions
Step 1
Tidy up your bookmarks. Sort them into folders for easy navigation. A bunch of bookmarks located at the root of the bookmarks bar may not display correctly on mobile devices.
Step 2
Go to the Google Chrome menu and select the "Sign in to Chrome …" menu. Enter your Gmail login and password in the window that appears.
After that, go to the "Settings" menu and at the very top click on the "Advanced sync settings" button. Here you can specify what information needs to be synced across all your devices, such as bookmarks, installed plugins, and saved passwords.
Step 3
Install Google Chrome on the second device. After installation, go to the browser settings and go through the authorization. Done! After a while, Chrome will restore all the settings and data that you chose to sync.
