A tag cloud is a functional design element that grabs the eye of every visitor. There is a distinction between static and three-dimensional tag clouds, and to create each of them, you need to have certain skills.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the 3D tag cloud from the Joomla official site if you are using this system. Download the tag cloud from the site https://www.drupal.org/ if your site is built on the Drupal management system. You can also do with a tag cloud for well-known CMS, for example, download an application for ucoz, instant, modx, britax
Step 2
Customize the module according to your own needs. Specify the number of displayed
Step 3
Use the program code if you want to insert a static tag cloud, and there is no ready-made solution on the official CMS website, or work with a self-written control system.
Step 4
Create a table in the form of "tag-to-number" correspondences, where each tag is assigned its own numerical value. As a result, you should get a static tag cloud, where more popular queries will stand out from less popular ones due to their size.
Step 5
Fill in the correspondence table. It will count the number of occurrences of the tag in the blog table. Calculate the popularity of each tag by determining its maximum value. This operation is not particularly difficult. After that, all tags are divided into specific groups depending on their popularity.
Step 6
Assign your classes to the generated taggroups via a CSS style sheet. Further, CSS-classes are prepared in the program for display (the code of the tag cloud is in the supplementary materials). Display the tag cloud on the page.
Step 7
Test the tag cloud to make sure there are no bugs or glitches. It is better to do this not on the main site. If there is no alternative resource that you do not mind spoiling, then before installing the tag cloud, be sure to create a backup copy of the site.
