Instructions
Step 1
Download the Metamod: Source, SourceMod and ZombieMod files to install the zombie mod on your server. Please note that at the time of its installation, the server must be turned off, otherwise there may be problems installing the configuration files. Unpack the Metamod: Source archive, one by one installing the files to prepare the server for the zombie mod installation.
Step 2
Before installing, you need to check the contents of the archive for viruses. You can find the necessary files on resources dedicated to the game Counter-Strike or on special forums about network games. Choose only those files that have positive reviews from other users, also check their compatibility with the version of the game you are using.
Step 3
Install ZombieMoD on the cstrike game folder, if you need to apply special settings related to the peculiarities of your game server, edit the file with the.cfg extension by opening it using any text editor. After configuration, start editing the metaplugins.ini file, which is located in the directory, which is located in the Methamod directory in the Addons folder. It is usually located on the disk with the unpacked Counter-Strike game files.
Step 4
Start editing this file with a text editor. Add the following lines to it: cstrike / addons / metamod / addons / zombiemod / bin / zombie_mm.
Step 5
Close the editor program, apply the changes, and start your server with the game. If you have not turned it off before, you will need a reboot in any case to apply the parameters of the installed zombie mod. If, after installing a zombie mod on your server, you have problems launching the game, pay attention to the correspondence of the software versions. In this case, it is advisable to reinstall the game on your computer.
