You are probably familiar with the very convenient Yandex bookmarks service. With it, you can create a directory from your bookmarks in the browser or make them directly from the web. You can use this directory from any computer. Unfortunately, if you accidentally or on purpose deleted a bookmark from the catalog, it will not be possible to restore it. But there is a way out.

Instructions
Step 1
Register on the site https://yandex.ru, if you have not already done so. Go to the page at: https://zakladki.yandex.ru. To save your bookmarks, click on the "Export" tab. In the window that opens, select "Save file" and click OK.
Step 2
Bookmarks are downloaded entirely, by the entire directory. The file is saved under the name bookmarks.html in your browser's download folder. If you don't know what this folder is, look in your browser settings. Or, on the download page, click on the downloaded file and select "Show file in folder" in the context menu.
Step 3
Create a folder in My Documents, for example, Bookmarks from Yandex. Move the bookmarks.html file into it.
Step 4
Rename the file, for example, 19_03_2012 - by creation date or whatever you like. Do not remove the extension (.html).
Step 5
Export your bookmarks from Yandex periodically.
Step 6
To restore bookmarks, go to the service and log in. Click on the "Import" tab. In the "From" box, select "From File" and click the "Browse" button.
Step 7
Find the folder "Bookmarks from Yandex", and in it the file you need. In the To Existing Folder field, select the root folder (the topmost one, if any). Otherwise, the bookmarks will be duplicated. In the "You are not a robot" field, enter the check digits and click the "Import" button.
