Often, when working on a network, it is required to set up voice communication between computers, in particular, to create a voice chat. This setting is carried out using a number of specific programs and does not cause any difficulties for novice PC users.
Instructions
Step 1
A prerequisite is that computers must be connected via a local network or in some other way. Moreover, this connection must be pre-configured. Radmin Viewer must be loaded on one of the computers, and Radmin Server on the other.
Step 2
Start Radmin Viewer on one of the computers. First select the item "Connection", and then the sub-item "Connect to …". Next, in the "Connect" window, go to the "General Settings" tab. Here you need to configure the connection parameters, namely:
1) Connection mode - "Voice hour";
2) IP address or DNS name (enter here the data of the computer with which you want to create a connection).
Step 3
The next step is to directly connect to the remote computer using Radmin Viewer. If it was successful, you will see the Radmin Security System window. Here you need to enter the username and password that was specified when configuring Radmin Server. Complete the operation by clicking OK.
Step 4
If the user of the remote computer has sufficient rights to use voice chat, now, when the Voice Chat window opens, adjust the microphone sensitivity and the volume of the sound in the headphones. To record a conversation, use the icon with a red round button depicted on it.
Step 5
To configure the parameters of sound devices, use the "Service-Settings" item. There is a Sound Devices tab here. On it, select the devices you need to record and play sound. To start chatting, press the "Space" key, after which you can start a conversation. To hear the voice of the interlocutor, "Space" must be released.
