Adding a new module or a copy of an existing one to the site does not present any particular difficulties for Joomla users, thanks to the convenient settings of the admin panel. It provides ease of use and automation of the selected operation.
Instructions
Step 1
Log in to the admin panel in the standard way and open the "Extensions" menu of the top toolbar to initiate the procedure for adding a new or a copy of an existing module to your site. Call the "Module Manager" dialog box and use the "Create" button to perform the required operation. Create a module to be added and open it by clicking on the line with the name.
Step 2
Enter the desired value for the name of the created mod in the "Title" field and apply the checkboxes in the "Show title" and "Enabled" fields. Specify the desired placement position for the component from the Position bar drop-down menu, and remember that this option allows you to create an undefined value. Select the necessary settings for the accessibility of the created module for site visitors in the drop-down menu of the "Access" field, or use the automatic default configuration option by selecting the "Select all menu items" command.
Step 3
Once again open the "Extensions" menu of the top toolbar of the application window and call the "Plugin Manager" tool. Expand the utility menu and point to Content - Load Module. Open the created module by left-clicking on the line of its name and expand the "Parameters" dialog in the right pane of the manager window. Apply the checkbox to the "Include plugin" field and select the "No border" item in the drop-down directory of the "Style" line. Save the changes made by clicking the "Save" button in the upper toolbar of the utility window.
Step 4
Go to the page to add the created module and paste the loadposition value saved_name_ of_created_module in the desired location of the component. Make sure that you did not use a link that does not have an itemid that identifies the selected menu item and do not use pages related exclusively to content - links to other materials, links from categories. The ability to assign a module to the selected page is directly related to the existence of the itemid!
